FAQ

Do I need to prep for my appointment?
  1. Arrive with clean eyes, free of makeup and mascara. Any residue from makeup, lotions, or serums will cause extensions to fall off prematurely.
  2. Plan for your appointment to last approximately 2 hours.
  3. Dress comfortably. Avoid caffeine and excess liquids beforehand.
  4. Use the restroom before your appointment begins.
  5. Important: Within the first 24 hours, the adhesive must cure and cannot be exposed to water or moisture. Plan showers, facials, and exercise accordingly.
How should I care for my lash extensions?
  1. For the first 24 hours, avoid water, heat, facial services, and tanning beds. If receiving a facial, ask for damp cotton rounds or tanning goggles to be placed over your lashes.
  2. After 24 hours, resume your normal lifestyle — but continue to minimize heat, sweat, and sauna exposure.
  3. Do not rub your eyes or pull on your lashes.
  4. Avoid touching your extensions, especially at the base. Natural oils from your hands break down the adhesive. Use a clean mascara wand to brush lashes back in place instead.
  5. Clean lashes twice daily — morning and evening — and always rinse with water. Q-tips or lint-free applicators work great around the eye area.
  6. All eye cleansers must be oil-free and specifically formulated for lash extensions. Oils break down the adhesive and affect retention.
  7. Brush lashes twice daily with a clean mascara wand. Gently roll the brush over lashes with eyes closed, then open and adjust. Avoid brushing at the base.
  8. Only use mascara and eyeliners formulated for extensions — tips only, never the base. Do not use waterproof mascara. An angled synthetic brush gives more control than a standard wand.
  9. Avoid direct heat from ovens, grills, or fire pits. Open the lid and wait 20 seconds before approaching — excessive heat can straighten the pre-curled extensions.
  10. In the shower, lean your head back so water doesn't directly hit your lashes.
  11. Be mindful of conditioner dripping onto lashes — it contains oils. Lean back and pat lashes dry with a lint-free towel.
  12. Skincare products are fine to use, but rinse carefully to avoid contact with your lashes. A damp washcloth is a good alternative to splashing water on your face.
  13. Apply eye creams, gels, and serums to the orbital area only — not directly on the lash line.
Will lash extensions damage my natural lashes?

No. Trained lash stylists apply extensions only to fully developed adult lashes, leaving young "baby" lashes untouched so they can fully grow in. When it's time to re-lash, there are new, strong lashes ready to bond to.

Natural lashes have their own growth cycle — they shed and regrow just like hair anywhere else on the body. When a shedding lash has an extension attached, it simply becomes more noticeable. Once extensions are removed, your natural lashes may look shorter or sparser simply because you've grown accustomed to a fuller look.

How long will my lashes last?

Extensions typically last 2–4 weeks depending on your skincare routine and natural lash growth cycle. To maintain a full look, refills are recommended every 2–3 weeks.

How often should I get refills?

We recommend refills every 2–4 weeks. Waiting too long will result in needing a full set. Factors like humidity, steam, and frequent eye-touching can cause extensions to fall sooner.

Refills typically take 45–60 minutes depending on your remaining lashes. A good rule of thumb: when 50–60% of your extensions are gone, it's time for a refill.

Can I wear mascara with lash extensions?

Yes — but only water-based mascara, applied to the tips only. Do not use oil-based or waterproof mascara. These dissolve the bonding agent and cause extensions to fall out prematurely.

Always use a water-based makeup remover and take care when cleansing around the eye area.

Can I swim, shower, or exercise with lash extensions?

Yes — the bonding agent is waterproof. However, do not get your lashes wet for the first 24 hours after application. This allows the adhesive to fully cure and extends the life of your extensions.

After 24 hours, you can shower, swim, and exercise as normal — just follow the care guidelines above to protect your retention.
